What a blessing to be a blessing! That’s what happens every time I take a missions team to work in an area of the world where people are spiritually and materially impoverished.
Last month, April 16-26, I led a team of seven to Romania to work on the Banaesa Community Center with AG missionaries Mike and Ana Descalescu. This southeastern part of Romania near the Black Sea is about 75% Muslim and 25% Orthodox. Less than 1% is evangelical Christianity.
This area is so in need of the Lord and this Community Center is going to be a great tool to reach out to people by provided food
, clothing, medical assistance and educational and recreational needs of the children.
Kids only go to the 4th grade and have nothing. Most families get around by horse and cart with no running water in their homes.
So we went and worked on the building so that now, it is almost finished and ready for dedication in September. We also had kids outreaches, organized a massive clothing giveaway and encouraged our dedicated missionaries. All the team was truly blessed to be a blessing and touch the lives of many in years to come.
